So a few weeks back i walked into my closet and spazzed out at the horror I had allowed it to become. I cant believe I ALLOWED myself to function in such dysfunction. I took pics n posted them on twitter figuring that the embarrassment and frustration would force me to lock in and clean house.

I forgot to post the before and after on here. It was such a mess u guys...really...prepare yourself.

So happy everything is now as it should be. What the heck was I going thru to let things get so crazy?! I know this is just a closet...but, I wonder how often we let calamity seep into our day to day lives and find ourselves functioning in dysfunction....

My week has been so crazy, my days have been starting super early and ending super late so there hasn't been much blogging action. But to make up for lost time, I took some pics of this awesome peacock print loosey goosey sweater I picked up a week or so ago =)

Today my Daddy graduated for the 875645697548643369679696958646475357352562236486585th time, Lol...I guess that's just what geniuses do. We had a fantastic cookout!

I donned a Vintage iridescent silk blazer, Lace t-shirt from Target, a white pair of Joe's Jeans and shoes from Nine West. I picked up the necklace from H&M during my time in Paris--and mighty glad i did so, since I have yet to see it stateside.

...it probably wasn't the brightest idea to take pics w/ white pants in front of white drapes....but I'm tired my loves...they'll just have to do. (I know u understand ;)

So much has been going on as of late. So much good has taken place...and not without a tremendous share of opposition. I had to remind myself of why I even go on. Thank God for being the ultimate inspiration...and helping me to experience the fullness of liberation!

The ever so wonderful Nuvany Ni'ce opened my eyes to a quite SUPERB new talent by the name of DOUGLAS REKER! His spring collection entitled "Picnic" has a beautifully neutral palette with splashes of bold florals and awe-inspiring shapes. I am even MUY EXCITEDO about his Fall09 Collection. My heart literally skipped a beat! I cannot wait to see more of this young man's perspective for years to come. And I definitely need a decent dosage of his work to make its way to my closet :D

Please pardon as I vent:


I am 2 seconds away from abandoning the once beloved title of Nikonian. I am beyond annoyed and more importantly disappointed in their poor customer service. At this point, I am willing to sell my Nikon and go Canon. They sent my Lens the other day, but not the body....its been well over 2 weeks. The initial estimate for repair was three days, when that expired, I was assured it would take no more than 7 days tops....its pretty much day 15 or so, and suddenly, NO ONE has any answers! They have been claiming to wait for a part necessary for repair well over a week. For all of that, JUST REPLACE IT GENIUS! It's not my fault there was some crazy shutter defect! GIVE ME MY DAMN CAMERA BACK!

::sigh::

Sorry guys, I'm just so over Nikon! They need to throw in another lens for good measure or something. I am dedicated to being a thorn in their foot until I am satisfied.
